There’s nothing better than the passion that naturally flows from learning – especially when it comes packaged in the form of “distilled wisdom” from proven experts.  Antonio Nieto-Rodriguez & Robin Speculand (co-founders of the Strategy Implementation Institute) have, once again, ignited my passion for learning with their co-written Strategy Implementation Playbook – A Step-by-Step Guide (SIP-Guide).

To successfully navigate the unique, often complex challenges involved in executing strategy, new knowledge, skills and capabilities are required. Antonio and Robin have stepped up to help fill this gap with a practical and powerful implementation framework and corresponding certification program, a proven set of tools, techniques and case studies to support the implementation journey, and, most importantly, the wisdom on how to overcome the many challenges involved in implementation.

The SIP-Guide will be particularly helpful as a learning roadmap for leaders, managers, and consultants seeking to overcome the challenges of traditional implementations – along with the significantly more complex challenges involved with digital implementation.

The SIP-Guide will be most helpful as a desk reference and program development benchmark for anyone interested in the growing discipline of strategy implementation. I found the chapter ending quizzes, articles and videos to be quite helpful.
