Meg Gassanov is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Strategic Measures, a boutique consultancy specializing in strategy, performance measurement, and evaluation. She brings over 20 years of experience helping public sector and non-profit organizations strengthen planning, decision-making, and implementation through evidence-based strategy and results-oriented management.
Drawing on her background in sociology and organizational strategy, Meg supports leaders in translating high-level plans into actionable systems for monitoring progress, learning, and improvement. Her portfolio spans governments, universities, and community-based organizations—covering areas such as housing and homelessness, public health, community safety, and social development.
Meg brings added value to LBL’s strategy engagements through her expertise in evaluation, performance measurement, and implementation planning, particularly for complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives. She is recognized for her ability to bridge strategy design with operational execution—helping organizations not only define where they want to go but also measure and sustain their impact.
Meg holds a PhD in Sociology and professional certifications as a Strategy Planning Professional (SPP) and Credentialed Evaluator (CE). She is also a member of the Governing Council of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC), where she contributes to national conversations on research strategy, performance, and impact.
