LJ Macko is a strategy professional with more than 30 years of Strategic Engagement and Strategy Execution experience while posted in the US and abroad for the US Government in multiple positions working on strategic international affairs issues in partnership with US Military and Federal Law Enforcement officials in multi-cultural and multi-national environments. In addition to his USG experience, LJ brings experience acquired as an Industrial Engineer/Project Manager in the private sector, and from US Army Special Forces service (active duty and National Guard).
LJ’s strategy execution experiences range from his first position, as a young Industrial Engineer leading a critical strategy implementation project for a specialty steel company, to leading and participating in the implementation of various types of programmatic efforts in support of various US government strategic goals. In addition to designing and implementing multiple strategic level initiatives in both the civilian and government sector, LJ also developed and served as the instructor for multiple specialized training programs, in the government sector and for subjects such as Material Requirements Planning, Capacity Requirements Planning and Inventory Management in the private sector.
LJ holds a Master’s of Science in Strategic Studies from US Air War University Air War College and a Bachelor’s of Science in International Business Management. LJ is also accredited as an Executive Coach by the International Coaching Federation at the ACC level and active member of the Association of Strategic Planning and the International Coaching Federation.
