The “MAPP®” in MAPPware stands for Management through Applied Planning Process®. It is the generic planning methodology that defines and directs the use of MAPPware. The MAPP® method has been taught at University of Illinois-Chicago and DePaul University and is presently taught within the “Certificate in Strategic Management” program offered by the Association for Strategic Planning's Chicago Chapter.
