Program Title: “Strategic Management in the 21^st Century” Boot Camp

One and two-day “boot camp” programs are offered for conference attendees delivering professional development and guided practice experiences within specific functional areas of strategic management in plan development, implementation and performance evaluation. Workshops are for organization executives and leaders charged with managing strategy and making strategic level decisions for their respective organizations. Leveraging a shared industry focus and interests, participants dive deep to work on a shared strategy management challenge and develop the know-how and skills to overcome it. Participants come away with a practical understanding and tools in hand to immediately apply a “managed” solution within their own organization.

Boot Camp topics are brought forward based on association level assessment and understanding of current member needs within the sphere of strategic management. Instruction team leader, Randall Rollinson, author of Strategy in the 21^st Century: A Practical Strategic Management Process (Rollinson and Young) is an ASP Certified Strategic Management Professional. The book and the association’s approved body of knowledge “guide” for ASP’s certification exam program are primary sources of strategic management theory and practices taught to during workshops. Once the workshop has concluded Strategy in the 21^st Century becomes a valuable desktop resource for participants. Continuing education credits are arranged / made available through approved conference providers.
