LBL Strategies Adds Director of Strategy Implementation

Chicago, IL, - Kristin Brown has joined LBL Strategies, Inc. to develop the company’s new service area, Strategy Implementation. With 20 years’ experience in business analysis and systems implementation, Brown will lead efforts to help clients translate their strategic plans into action.
Brown has led teams on 3 continents and managed multi-national rollouts of large-scale business systems in a variety of industries, from pharmaceuticals to academic publishing to elevator maintenance. With a facility for foreign languages, it didn’t take long to master “Technologese” and identify a real need for “translators” in the industry.
Brown adds, “Even if you work primarily in English, you’ve probably noticed that the Sales reps aren’t always speaking the same language as the people in Marketing or those in Accounting. And more often than not, “IT” and “End-User” are mutually incomprehensible dialects.”
In her role as translator, Kristin helps organizations streamline business processes and leverage technology to support those processes.
Brown attended Northwestern University, earning her BA in Political Science at the Université Laval in Québec, and holds a master’s degree from University of California where she also advanced to Ph.D. Candidacy in Sociology. In addition to English, Italian, Arabic and French, Ms. Brown is fluent in both "TechSpeak" and "End-User."
