Dr. Luis G. Flores earned his Ph.D. in Business administration, with concentrations in Strategic Management from Texas Tech University (1976). Previously, he earned an Engineering degree and an MBA degree from Peruvian Universities. Dr. Flores is an Emeritus Professor at Northern Illinois University where he worked for 30 years teaching and doing research in the areas of strategic management and organizational effectiveness. He has written numerous academic and professional articles. Among them are “How to Run and Effective Strategic Planning Meeting,” “Energizing Strategic Planning,” and “Effective Strategy Implementation.” Dr. Flores has given numerous executive development workshops in strategic management and organizational effectiveness around the world. Dr. Flores has significant experience in consulting with private industry at the national and international levels in the areas of strategic planning and strategic change, and has guided several large companies and other smaller companies through their strategic planning and change efforts. He has worked in a variety of countries in Europe, North America and South America.

Dr. Flores works with business organizations to develop or enhance their strategic management and learning capabilities and/or cope with complex, difficult and challenging issues. He has developed a powerful and comprehensive process for raising the level of collective thinking and problem solving in business organizations.His methodology helps management teams master the complexities of their industry, develop powerful strategic plans, get everybody on the right page, generate strong consensus and commitment and ensure the effective implementation of plans. He works with the senior management team or with an entire company. He works in a variety of industries with emphasis in financial services, high tech, engineering, and other challenging industries. He works anywhere in the world with large and medium size companies, and smaller companies who want to grow and become relevant players in an industry.
