Seminars in Strategic Management
Program Title: “Strategic Management in the 21st Century” ASP Chapter Seminars
Half-day and full day seminars for Association for Strategic Planning chapter audiences delivering professional development and guided practice experiences within specific functional areas of strategic management in plan development, implementation and performance evaluation. Seminars will address topics and issues of interest to ASP chapter member audiences tied to managing strategy and making strategic level decisions for their clients and/or respective organizations. Seminar topics are brought forward based on an ASP chapter level assessment to understand and identify current member needs within the sphere of strategic management.
Certified ASP Strategic Management Professional, Randall Rollinson, co-author of Strategy in the 21st Century: A Practical Process Management Approach (Rollinson and Young) is the instructional designer and lead instructor of the seminars. The book, LBL's Management through Applied Planning Process model and ASP’s approved body of knowledge for the ASP certification exam program are primary sources of strategic management theory, process and practice taught to during seminars. Strategy in the 21st Century becomes a valuable desktop resource for participants after the seminar concludes. Continuing education credits are arranged, when available, through seminar sponsoring chapters working with ASP at the national level.
