Randy Rollinson is president of LBL Strategies, Ltd., a Chicago-based education, training and consulting company that specializes in supporting progressive organizations in defining and executing their strategic direction and operational plans. Over the past 20 years Mr. Rollinson has focused exclusively on strategic management education, consulting and facilitation. He has worked with approximately 2500 organizations in helping them focus, make better decisions and grow.

He has designed, developed and delivered a number of successful business management programs, including the Certificate in Strategic Management, which won the Exemplar Award from the International Association for Continuing Education, as an “exemplary, outstanding results-oriented program.” From 1985 through 1999, he collaborated with DePaul University and the University of Illinois at Chicago to offer an award-winning five-month Certificate in Business Administration program. In this capacity, he taught strategic management and board development to more than 1,500 small business owners and executives. He also designed and developed a certificate program for minority and female business owners, a five-part executive education program for the Air Conditioning Contractors of America, and a certificate program for nonprofit managers. He is now partnering with the Illinois Institute of Technology and the Tooling & Manufacturing Association in Chicago to offer a co-branded version of the Certificate in Strategic Management program including the use of MAPPware2.1, today's web-based planning solution.

He teaches strategic management in the MBA program at the College of Business Administration at the University of Illinois at Chicago. His teaching scores are in the upper 5% of all MBA faculty at UIC. Mr. Rollinson has been an adjunct faculty member or instructor at the University since 1991. In this capacity, he completed an eighteen-month project in Poland for the U.S. Agency for International Development.

He and his business partner, Diane Rollinson co-founded Rosebud Software Systems, Ltd., in 1995 as a targeted vehicle to develop complementary strategic management software products and services. During the 1990’s Rosebud designed and developed a highly integrated client server tool named Beacon by Rosebud, and is now bringing to market a more intuitive internet tool named MAPPware.

Mr. Rollinson holds an MBA in Management Information Systems from DePaul University, a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southern Illinois University. He has taken advanced certificate level training from DePaul University in executive information systems and project management.
