LBL Teaches CSM Program at DePaul
Continuing education has always been a passion with LBL’s President, Randy Rollinson. He has over 20 years experience teaching in the subject areas of strategic management, board development, and business administration. Recent affiliations include the Institute for Organizational Management (US Chamber of Commerce) where Randy is an instructor leading courses for association and chamber executives pursuing CAE/IOM certification. Recognizing that continuing education is vitally important to associations and chambers in the Chicago area, Randy is partnering with DePaul University to offer a Certificate in Strategic Management at its Rolling Meadows Campus in March 2006. The program is comprised of two ten-week sessions in Strategy Formulation, Strategy Execution and including the development of performance metrics to evaluate progress in achieving planned for objectives. The Certificate in Strategic Management Program (CSM Program) won the 2001 Exemplar Award from the International Association for Continuing Education and Training, as an “exemplary, outstanding results-oriented program.”
The 2006 CSM program is being offered to established organizations in Northeastern Illinois. Each participating organization will enroll up to three members from their management team for the fixed group tuition rate of $5,400.00. The CSM program is delivered over two ten session modules. The first module of the program fits very well with organizations that want an extremely cost-effective approach to developing the knowledge and expertise to formulate a sound strategic plan. The second module arms your management team with the in house capacity and tools to manage your plan’s execution and performance evaluation. We are excited to be a part of this new collaborative venture with DePaul University’s School of Continuing and Professional Education.
