On November 8 Randy Rollinson, founder and President of LBL Strategies, Ltd., presented a two-day leadership development program focused on strategic management concepts and issues to a select group of emerging leaders of Crowe Chizek and Company LLC. Crowe is one of the top 10 public accounting and consulting firms in the US serving clients worldwide.
The goal of the program was to strengthen the strategic planning and management skills of emerging Crowe leaders. In part, the seminar focused on giving participants a conceptual understanding of strategic planning and management from a historical perspective. Utilizing a timeline marking significant developments coming from strategists starting in antiquity and proceeding through today’s cutting edge thought leaders and practitioners, Randy led participants through a practical reveal of the roots of strategy formulation and implementation.
A timeline graphic was developed and presented to provide visual context to the history and highlight thought leaders in the field of strategy development and management. We continue to build on this and will present it within the online version of LBL Strategies, Ltd. Certificate in Strategic Management program scheduled for launch in the spring of 2007.
