MAPPware 2.3 Technical Specifications

MAPPware 2.3 is separated into five components:

1. A user interface written in Active Server Pages(ASP)
2. A middle tier consisting of COM Objects
3. A back-end SQL Server database that manages the data
4. Crystal Reports for reporting
5. A client/server application that allows managing information across all business units at the customer site

Security is managed by user logons and passwords. Permissions are role-based within a specific business unit (or planning group). Roles include 'Team Manager', 'Team Member' and 'Guest', each with varying degrees of responsibilities and data access.
